Enhancing Your Communication

To Become The Best Version Of Yourself

An overview of how our communication styles impact our day to day interactions and how we can become the best versions of ourselves to show up to the world at our best!!
Lynne Brown believes courage is the key to personal and organizational transformation. Her mission is to inspire people to break through limiting beliefs and to create courageous lives and healthy cultures. During her twenty-five years of leadership in education and business, she saw and experienced the hold limiting beliefs had on her own life and in the organizations she served. Refusing to participate in the status quo, she committed her life to crashing through the barriers to positively impact the lives of thousands of students through her work as a counselor, teacher, and top performer with the John Maxwell Team and the JMT Global Youth Initiative. Realizing that organizations frequently settle for ‘good enough’, she began work with leaders and employees to engage in the fierce, powerful, and courageous conversations that lead to the bold actions necessary to leap forward to truly remarkable performance and impact. Her work is guided by quotes from her inspirational mentors: “Belief drives behavior.” – Paul Martinelli “Better is the enemy of Best” – John Maxwell.

Exchange Club Meeting @ Okefenokee Fair Association
Apr 25 @ 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm

Exchange, America’s Premier Service Club, working to make our communities better places to live. Exchange’s Mission Statement was updated in January, after approval by the National Board of Directors. The concise phrasing more effectively communicates our mission to members, potential members and the general public.

Core Values

Each member of Exchange holds near to their heart three core values – Family, Community and Country. Commitment to Family is interpreted not only as one’s own family needs, but also those of all American families. Strengthening families, with a focus on youth, is addressed in many ways through Exchange’s Programs of Service. Commitment to the Community where an Exchangite resides is the focal point for each club’s efforts. Exchange is unique as a service organization in that it has the flexibility to structure projects that target the specific needs of a particular geographic location, rather than being restricted to a certain cause. Commitment to Country was born in the aftermath of World War II, a time of unquenchable patriotism. Exchangites are proud to join veterans and other civic groups in promoting Americanism as the rich blessing of democracy and freedom, and in educating today’s youth to cherish its values. These three values are translated into actions every day to bring about positive results through the work of hundreds of clubs and tens of thousands of dedicated Exchange Club members every day.
