Swamptown Getdown Music Festival The 2nd Annual Swamptown Getdown Music Festival will be held at the Okefenokee Fair Grounds at 2451 Knight Ave., Waycross, GA, 31503 and is a celebration of music from all over the South Eastern US. With Country, Indie Rock, Americana, Jam, Bluegrass and points in between, STGD is sure to have something for everyone! Fri: 6:00 pm – 1:00 am Sat:1:00 pm – 1:00 am 2 day pass is $50 which includes free camping or a day pass of $25 per day.

Celebrates athleticism and ecology on Jekyll Island. Known as one of the most scenic triathlons on the East Coast, this USAT sanctioned event includes an Olympic Distance, Sprint Distance, and 5K Run. With so many options, there is something for athletes of every skill level. At the finish line, guests can take part in Nest Fest, educational activities and exhibits culminating with the release of rehabilitated sea turtle from the Georgia Sea Turtle Center. A portion of the event proceeds benefit the Georgia Sea Turtle Center. The 2012 Turtle Crawl Triathlon is produced by Set-up Events as part of their inaugural Georgia series. Ware County Recreation Department, HTF Sports Performance and BN Foundation presents a FREE Youth Football and Dance Clinic.
Camp will be held at the Trembling Earth Recreation Complex in Waycross.
The clinic is for boys and girls ages 6 to 17 years old from 9 am to 1pm from all Southeast Georgia counties.
Registration is free and includes a camp t-shirt, instruction and lunch.
